The Staff Accountant must have background in filling Sales Use Taxes as this project will be under minimal supervision. Research product taxability by jurisdiction and summarize findings Assist with the preparation of sales use tax returns for all entities Maintain multiple spreadsheets required for documentation upload info into the sales use tax software Maintain sales tax rates and communicate changes to all stakeholders including stores and IS department Handle correspondence relating to sales and use tax compliance Assist with state income and sales tax audits RELATED COMPETENCIES Adaptability Maintaining effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work tasks or the workplace atmosphere adjusting effectively to work within new work structures, processes, qualifications or cultures.
